Could anyone suggest country albums similar to Merle Haggard’s ‘Back to the Barrooms’ and ’190 Proof’?

I listen to lots of music but recently have been branching out into country and am not familiar with the genre. Looking for other artists similar to late 70s Haggard or Willie Nelson.

Check out Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristopherson, Johnny Cash and Don Williams. There are many more.

Willie, Waylon, Kris and Johnny did an album called: “the Highwaymen” I highly recommend it.

I cannot recommend country artists and forget George Jones. He is awesome.

One other suggestion is to get onto Amazon and search on those albums/ artists. Amazon will provide other recommendations to you and, I believe, give you a 30 sec sample of the songs. I think that iTunes does the same thing.
